Thanks for reading. Condemn is too strong a term. User Stories do however have clear weaknesses (personas, zero causality etc.). The JTBD Framework is in fact one of the remedies you mentioned. I hope that came through in the content effectively.

Rather than looking at design capability, this is about proposing an alternative framework through which the risk of designing something low-value is decreased.
